I’m AP, the independent Metro Detroit artist behind APNEWFRIEZA.

I started building my foundation one freestyle, one recording, and one post at a time. Showing up consistently became part of the craft: learning my sound, putting my work in front of people, and figuring out how to build a music career with the resources I had.

That work has grown into releases like “Not Veneers,” “Come My Way,” and “Time to Smoke,” alongside collaborations, performances, and a community that gets to see the process as it happens. My music makes room for confidence, humor, relationships, and the emotions that don’t always make it into everyday conversation.

Through RapGeeks, I bring artists together to create, compete, and push each other forward. The cyphers, battles, and reality episodes document the work and personalities behind the songs. Through Studio of AP, I help other artists bring their own ideas to life.

My next chapter is the 30 Days / 30 Artists challenge: opening the studio to 30 artists I haven’t worked with before and sharing those sessions live.

APNEWFRIEZA brings all of that together—my music, the crew, the studio, and the people building alongside me. I’m still growing, and you’re invited to be part of it.
